Packing any amazing value, this guide was key in diagnosing my Betta early on in his existence when he fell ill. My fish Gilbert, though he doesn't know it, surely owes his existences to the great section on Betta diseases and illnesses in particular.
The guide is fabulous in most every aspect, especially for a beginner. Everything is laid out for you and the author has great voice, which keeps everything moving along smoothly as you learn. The wording is clear and makes for a great guide to make sure you're giving your Betta everything he (or she) needs.
While lacking a little bit of the depth that the Betta Lover's Guide carries, the difference isn't drastic and you still get an amazing bang for your buck from this guide. It's definitely a great way to start learning all about Betta fish care, or even take the knowledge you already have above and beyond.
